Creative??

Yep - creative AVOIDANCE!! I get so annoyed with myself sometimes. As in Sunday evening - instead of working on the next game(s) in the Hire book, I took a jigsaw puzzle upstairs and put it together. Creative? Nope - Avoidance? Yep......

Looks a little like a quilt, tho, don't you think?? Well ok, just trying for SOME semblance of creativity. Here is the type of thing I shoulda-coulda-woulda been working on, had my head not been throbbing with a migraine (yes, I know - migraines aren't especially responsive to puzzles, either):

The above is a nearly-finished top from the McClun-Nownes book "Say It With Quilts" (the pic represents about one-fourth of the piece). The quarter circles are all appliqued on, the blocks set together. All I have to do is applique the accent strips (some of which you can see pinned in place, or near-place). About 2 hours of work there and it's ready to quilt. Right. Well, at least I'm temporarily out of unsolved puzzles.
